I sold something on ebay, and for some reason at the kiosk I was at, would not let me add tracking to the item. The post office is closed by the time I get off work, and are not open when I leave for work, so I just use the kiosk. I figure, okay, it's a $15 item, I have never had an issue before, it should be fine.
Well, god dammit, the one time I don't get tracking, what do you think happens? The buyer says they never got it, they escalate it and it gets put in their favor. Sure, they can't prove delivery, BUT, I just knew something was up. I FB stalk the broad and bitch makes a post about her recent purchase on ebay-WHAT I SOLD HER.
If I took a screenshot of this, and showed ebay, would my chances at getting my money back be high? I mean, sure they could say that she got it from somewhere else or whatever, but come on...it's so clear that she lied, and I got screwed.

On Saturday at 19:52, somehow a transaction of 410€ was made from my Paypal account to the e-mail “[email protected]”.
I instantly opened a ticket for unauthorised transaction, in about 1-2 hours PayPal returned my query saying after an investigation they had concluded that this transfer was not fraudulent.
I called their customer care line, and the agent was very polite and trying to figure out why they had marked it as a “Valid transfer” Without any proof and he explained to me that normally there is at least a comment from the recipient justifying, yet he could not see anything on my case. He recommended me to call my bank and block the transfer in the meantime.
Come Monday, I check my bank, no money has been taken but I receive an e-mail from PayPal telling me my account has been limited and to please resolve my query. I once again filed a ticket for unauthorized transaction that was escalated. The reply was: “Please speak to the person the transfer was made to and try to settle the dispute”. << THAT IS THE MOST FUCKING RETARDED POLICY OR RESPONSE I’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN. If it was someone who has hacked my account, I doubt they are very much up for discussion. So at this point, I’ve filed a formal complaint against customer support and will wait for further news.

If you're going to hang out with sketchy guys you met on Tinder, call your mom and let her know where you are. Especially if your mom is a famous comedian who can (and will) use the power of social media to track you down.
Chelsea O'Donnell, the 17-year-old daughter of Rosie O'Donnell, went missing for nearly a week in the summer of 2015. After reporting the incident to the police, Rosie turned to social media for help. She posted messages on Twitter and Instagram asking the public for any information they could provide.
By Wednesday, police had located Chelsea. Turns out she had been hiding out with a 25-year-old named Steve Sheerer. Chelsea met Sheerer on Tinder and was apparently with him of her own accord. According to O'Donnell on Twitter, Sheerer had previously been arrested for drug-related offenses. His case was later dropped.
Worked there years ago during 2006-2009 ish.
An adult guy came in a traded in a bunch of Game Cube and PS2 games. One of them was a Mary Kate and Ashley game. The cases were clean but we always wiped them down. When my coworker got to the MK&A game I guess the windex caused some sort of reaction because something came back to life and smeared all over the case. We threw the case away lol.
Another guy would come in and only buy Leisure Suit Larry games and the Dead or Alive Volleyball games.
We used to play the console testing TV from the back room lol. It was a fun job but some of the regulars. I have a lot more lol.

So, I’m assuming you guys have heard of these online Recipe Box services. Companies like HelloFresh or Blue Apron that deliver high quality ingredients and cooking guides so their customers can create restaurant style meals in the comfort of their own kitchens.
Well my Girlfriend and I adore them. One of the highlights of our week is opening the packages to discover which delicious, healthy meal we’ll be making together. It’s not only brought us closer together as a couple, it’s actually helped us lose a couple of pounds, since we’ve opted for the low fat menus.
Now, I use Tor browsers to access the Dark Web. Not for anything weird, I don’t buy drugs or stolen electronics, nor do I venture into the seedier parts of the internet’s underground. I know it’s there; I just don’t care to see it.
But on one little browsing session, I came across a Recipe Box service that appeared to be exclusive to the Dark Web. It was called Yu-Go-Cook. It only accepted Bitcoin payments, but it promised to be the most exciting, adventurous meal delivery service available.
I signed up without a second thought. My girlfriend would be in for a delectable surprise.
The first Recipe Box arrived exactly on schedule.
We were already making awkward jokes about the probability of being tricked into consuming human flesh sent by some Dark Web psychopath. Yet as we popped open the box and saw that the ingredients were indeed of the highest quality, all our fears dissipated.
That doesn’t mean it wasn’t an unusual meal plan. The Filet of Giy came with a large, bright-white slab of meat along with little baggies of potent smelling herbs. Galangal from south east Asia, Pandanus from the South Pacific, along with all manner of seasoning that neither of us had ever heard of.
I admit we were both a little apprehensive to sample such adventurous cuisine, but once the divine smells of the meat and spices in our skillet had begun to waft around the kitchen, we were sold. It was without doubt the most delicious meal either of us had ever tasted in our lives. Rich, exotic flavors that seemed to effortlessly complement each other along with the most tender, mouthwatering meat I’ve ever purchased.
But something was wrong.
The next morning, both of us had to call into work. My girlfriend wouldn’t stop puking into the bathroom sink while I had diarrhea so bad that it left me painfully dehydrated.
I emailed the customer complaints department of Yu-Go-Cook, pretty angry that their meal had gotten us so goddamn sick. The reply came back almost instantly. Apparently they were inundated with complaints since one of the ingredients in the last batch had not been sourced properly, I had no idea what that meant, but I found their offer of a full refund and a free meal kit to be very reasonable.
There was, however, a caveat. The meat we’d been sourced was from a very rare sea creature, one on the endangered species list and therefore highly illegal to purchase or consume. We were instructed not to contact any local emergency services, since this could result in our arrest and detainment.
We’ve waited days now and nothing has arrived. Each of us has been too sick to leave our apartment, but we’re not yet desperate enough to call 911. We just don’t have the cash to spare for something like that and I’m terrified we’ll be arrested if the authorities discover what we’ve eaten.
My girlfriend has been sleeping for almost 24 hours now, she’s so weak. Her skin has turned from healthy pink to a sickly pale, last time I checked on her she actually looked kind of grey. She was wheezing too, her mouth gaping as she gasps for fresh air. Almost like a fish when it’s trapped out of water. I’m really worried about her, I’m scared she’s dying.
I feel really woozy but I think the meal delivery guy has arrived. He’s been wandering around the hallway outside for a while now. I’m not sure how long, I’m losing track of time, but it must be them. I hope it is anyway.
I checked the peephole on our front door. The guy wears a weird looking rubber uniform and a small face mask with ventilators on it. I called out to him but he won’t reply, he just stares back at the peephole with that dark visor covering his eyes.
He’s been watching, waiting, taking notes while other men in rubber uniforms and face masks arrive. I don’t recognize the symbols on their clothing or equipment. They carry a lot of equipment, medical looking stuff.
But something tells me…
…they’re not here to help.

I woke up this morning and saw this article "3 myths about policy enforcement DeBunked" under my shop checklist, and gave it a read.
"Answer: We definitely do! For all policy violations (for instance, when a prohibited item is listed) we’ll reach out to the seller and provide educational information about our policies, and even give them the opportunity to remove or edit the listing without ever suspending their shop."
This is an outright lie. Like, who can I call at Etsy and tell them they're full of shit?
When I first started my shop (I sell handcrafted wooden Cannabis pipes) I listed a couple pipes, had a sale almost immediately, and went to bed. Woke up the next morning, and my shop was gone. I got a little blurb telling me that my shop was closed, have a nice life. I had no idea why even, not a clue. I phoned, I emailed, and after three days, I got a form letter telling me that Etsy doesn't tolerate prohibited items, now PFO. They didn't even tell me what policies I'd broken.
So, this goes back and forth several times, mostly because I wouldn't stop sending letters and emails, until finally I got someone to talk to me. Apparently, I used the words "Cannabis" and "Marijuana" in my tags, that was verbotten, and I was gone. As well, they don't allow drug paraphernalia, and "drug pipes" were not permitted.
I argued that by the letter of their own policies, my products didn't violate their rules, my pipes had no residue on them, were not illegal to buy in ANY state, province or country in the world, had no carburetor on them, and were fundamentally NO different that a tobacco pipe. And again, my products fell within ALL of their parameters for being allowed on Etsy.
After almost three weeks of fighting, I got my shop back and have been in business ever since. So, this "we contact a shop to educate them" is an outright, unadulterated lie. It's spin and PR, and I call bullshit. They never said a word to me, they just nuked me and moved on. And I've read HUNDREDS of stories over the years of the same thing happening to other people. They may give second chances, but only if you fight like hell for weeks on end and absolutely PROVE beyond a doubt that Etsy is in the wrong.
