"He just seemed not all there, while we were at the bar he kept asking me to explain what some of the words I was using meant. He refused to take off his coat and awkwardly started swearing. He would ask me to come back to his place each time I finished a sip of my drink. The next day I told him I wasn't interested in seeing him anymore, then he asked me for a refund of the drink I offered to pay for but he insisted on buying." - Reddit user TriggeredQuilt

One time a woman screamed at me because her kid was tearing open a toy before paying for it and I kindly told him to wait a little bit.

She seemed on the fence on whether she wanted to buy the toy or not for her kid, so you know I wasn't glad that her kid was already ripping it open.

She then proceeded to scream at me for being "really awful with kids", "a horrible person", "bad at my job", etc. Also she wanted to complain to the manager if I ever talked to her kid like that again. She then angrily paid and walked of the store.

Also people tinkering / modding their console and then trying to return it because it doesn't work anymore and angrily insisting on having it bought that way in Gamestop.

It was my final year at College and I was ever closer to getting my bachelor's degree in business and political science. Despite all of my great prospects I was bored out of my mind. Although I had a decent amount of friends growing up I began to become more introverted due to my growing boredom from everyone around me. I desperately craved some sort of entertainment. That's where the Dark Net came in.

When it comes to the dark web I've always been intrigued by it, though not for the cliche reasons like curiosity or shit like that. Watching various creepypasta and allegedly true videos on the dark web were quite useful in informing me of the many dangers of the cesspool of the Internet. But now it was time to see the true side of humanity for myself.

I brought up the subject while hanging out with my friend Jason since I didn't know how to actually get on the dark web despite having TOR on my laptop. He's always been good with computers, so he was a perfect choice.

"So Preston you wanna go on the Dark Web huh. I know you like amusement and all that, but are you sure about this?"

"If I wasn't, would I be asking? Can you tell me how please?" I begged

"Okay fine, calm your tits. It's your funeral if anything happens."

After walking me through the process and setting up my laptop with the proper software it seemed to be more of a piece of cake getting in than I thought. He told me if I wanted a less advanced method of entering the dark web I should go on the Hidden Wiki via TOR which contains links to various Onion sites.

When the setup was completed Jason insisted that I don't go on any hacking pages or illegal sites like black markets for various drugs and guns. I made no guarantees before leaving.

When I was in bed with my girlfriend I went on the hidden wiki, my earbuds in to start off. Ironically, a black market site for illegal firearms was my first click. There were thousands of guns on there that you could never get from the civilian market unless you were a rich veteran or politician. Giant M60's, Barret 50 Cals, and Incendiary shotgun shells were all available to purchase with bitcoin. You could practically arm an entire state with these. Now this was the entertainment I needed.

But then things started to get weirder, and a bit creepier. I stumbled upon some sort of animal abuse page, and while I'm pretty desensitized to blood and death this was absolutely brutal. Pictures of decaying animal corpses, all in varied states of mutilation littered the site.

While I was quite disturbed by these grisly photographs, I was kind of numb to it. I can't really explain why, but I just was.

23 more minutes of browsing and I eventually stumbled upon some sort of chat room. A guy with a black mask on his face came into view, along with a big table, showcasing a chainsaw, scalpel, .44 Magnum handgun, and a large hunting knife with a serrated edge.

The camera then began to focus on a pale-skinned young woman clad in a skin-tight black dress. Tears were coming out of her eyes as she desperately struggled to free herself from the rope. The expression on her duck taped face said it all, this was all real.

A chat box then popped up as almost dozens of people flooded the room. They welcomed me as well before the masked guy started to speak.

"Which one?" Said the man, gesturing to the table.

A good portion said chainsaw, while another half chose the handgun or knife. Eventually, it became tied between chainsaw and knife. I just couldn't fathom what these sick fucks were typing. The fact they could just nonchalantly choose how to brutally kill someone with about as much emotional weight as eating Chinese takeout was just pure terror at its finest.

"A tiebreaker huh, well looks like I'll just have to pick randomly."

As he said this a second man, much taller and muscular than the first man came into view, also masked. He picked up the knife and .44 as he walked towards the woman, her muffled screams becoming louder as he picked where to stab her. After a minute he settled for her right shoulder, plunging the blade in so fast it could've dislocated her arm. She yelled another muffled scream of agonizing pain as the chat exploded with excitement.

Another person in the chat then remarked he didn't stab her slow enough. As a result, the man took the serrated top of the blade to the top of her nose. I closed my eyes, unable to watch as I heard the blade sawing through her nose followed by her screaming. I desperately tried to exit the site but nothing worked. Pressing Esc and Ctrl Alt had absolutely no effect at all.

The burly man then began to load two rounds into the .44. He aimed precisely at her chest as he fired, creating a gaping hole in where her chest used to be barely a second ago. Aiming again he raised the gun to her forehead, the force of the bullet so great it knocked her and the chair to the ground.

Incredibly horrified, I got up from the bed, careful to not wake my girlfriend up as I went into the garage to get my screwdriver. I unscrewed the bottom of the laptop before removing the battery, finally shutting it down. I had to sit down for a moment to collect my thoughts about what I had witnessed before going back to bed, Chloe was luckily still asleep, though I didn't get any that night.

When I woke up Chloe noticed how uneasy I was. I assured her it was nothing as she continued to persist. I called Jason to tell him about last night after she left for work. He was just as freaked out as I was. I asked what I could do because I couldn't possibly call the police due to having been on the other illegal sites. Instead, he advised me to completely destroy the laptop and hard drive which I did.

3 weeks after this Chloe gave me a letter that had no name, address, nothing. I asked her where this came from to which she had no idea. Yeah, definitely was a pretty stupid question at the time.

I opened it and I was welcomed with a sheet of paper that read "Come back again sometime" written in what I deeply hope was red ink. I already had a strong feeling of where it was from.

It's now been 10 years since that experience and I am now 29. To this day I still have nightmares about that poor woman's death. I still wished I could've saved her, the fear in her eyes forever haunting my soul.

For anyone who even considers going on the Dark Web, please learn from my mistakes and stay the fuck away from that digital hell.

I am shut down again, 2nd time this month.  No warning, no explanation and based on their policies for selling I am breaking no rules. The 1st time there was no warning or explanation and I tried calling them and sent in 3 support tickets with no response.  Then one day I did get an email and they had turned my shop back on but all they had to say was "we are sorry for any inconvenience."  The ONLY thing I can think of causing this is that I have 2 Etsy shops and I used the same computer to open the second one so maybe the IP address is glitching things?

I create 100% original designs from my own brain and NO similarity to any trademarked art out there. I work with a production company that Etsy actually allows for integration.  I am 100% transparent about using this production partner.  My 2 shops are unique from one another, no duplicate listings.  They both carry digital art created by me but with completely different content and focus.

I just wanted to come here and let others know it happened and that it can happen to anyone and at anytime.  I wanted to be a part of the Etsy community and see myself as an honest and transparent person who is just trying to make a living making art. I would be happy to fix something if I am doing it wrong but they never tell me why I am getting suspended.

I will no longer spend my time or money with Etsy.  I feel like I follow their rules and contribute to their paycheck but I do not feel represented or valued as a seller. I have also been reading to many horror stories from very successful and seasoned sellers who are now frustrated with Etsy,  This shows me the long term goals for my shop will be in fragile hands if I stay with Etsy.  I will now be going elsewhere.

I bought several items and paid for them August 15 11:55 pm. There was reversals for many of the items Aug 16 at 12:15 am. They ended up in my unpaid items. I clicked on the items to pay on Aug 17 and it charged me $130. shipping on free shipping items. paypal said it was ebay. ebay said it was the seller. The sellers said it was a ebay paypal glitch. ebay paypal and sellers wont refund my money or cancel my order. I have been on the phone for 8 hours starting immediately after the transaction happened. paypal said they couldnt refund my money they are like a bank. Ebay said the sellers charged the money. The sellers said they didnt charge me shipping. They said it was a glitch at ebay and paypal. There are several items still in my unpaid item list ebay said they are paid for the sellers say they aren’t. Sellers say its a ebay paypal glitch. I’ve sold things on ebay and I know the sellers dont charge anything. You list the item. You choose to not charge for shipping and the listing is viewed as free shipping. When the auction ends you get what was bid on the item, that’s all. I think this is a ebay-paypal scam.

"I met up with this girl. We went to a bar for some drinks. We seem to be really hitting it off. Then her boyfriend turns up. It turns out he wants to have a MFF threesome and they had a Tinder account for her in order to find someone. When I got annoyed by this, they both suddenly got really aggressive and pissy. They followed me out of the bar and tried to get into a taxi with me." - Reddit user DisloyalMouse
