So, I bought something from a guy because when I asked him questions through ebay messaging, he gave me wrong information. When I received the item, it was clearly not up to his description. So I file a claim and after much dispute he agrees to total refund (cost, and shipping costs both ways). Now it was a total headache to make him agree to this.
Usually sellers who are in the wrong provide a shipping label for you to you return, but this guy insisted I pay up front. So I did anyways, and returned it to him. So now after a couple of weeks, I’m doing my feedbacks and I give him a NEUTRAL because it was like a scenario from Dell CS.
Then all of a sudden, he retracts payment for the return shipping claiming “Item not received.” Keep in mind that I have all kinds of tracking on this and plenty of evidence, which is now already sent to PayPal and eBay.
Now my question is… are seller allowed to pull this kind of crap on buyers? That they provide a refund, only if you don’t leave ANY feedback? I feel like its some kind of extortion; they should be giving me a refund because they made a mistake.
Now this guy has given me a positive feedback with this message:
“OP” is a SCAMMMMMM… All Ebayers “BEWARE!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!
Additionally…
There’s another seller who shipped something relatively small and cheap (less than $5) from within the contiguous US that had no tracking. After 2 weeks of not getting the item, I asked him/her where it was, and he/she replied to just wait. So I wait until the final shipping date which was provided by eBay, now about a month, and still I receive no item so I open a case. I opt for still wanting the item, but the guy gives me a refund w/o any communication with me. So I’m pretty displeased now, as I’ve been waiting a MONTH for something that I can get faster from China.
So after a while, I also leave some neutral feedback on this guy and I receive this message today:
3) we give you 100% refund on one condition: you will never leave any feedback.
4) now we need leave feedback for you, please choose one: = “OP” is a SCAMMMMMM… All Ebayers “BEWARE!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!
^ that is what the other guy above left me.
or = If you repay good with evil, evil will never leave your house ( Proverbs 17:13 )
Is this legit/valid practice for sellers? I see this is terrible business practice.

join Paypal as a faster way (I thought) to receive my paycheck from Paypal to transfer to my bank, as my employer is in Florida and uses Paypal often. It has been 7 days not included weekends since I made a request and I still have not receive my transfer from Paypal to my bank account. So the money I have left in Paypal I requested to close my Paypal account and to transfer the remaining amount of money to my bank account. I don’t trust Paypal and would not recommend anyone else to trust this company. For me its back to US postal service.

Not all Tinder matches are made in heaven. But for one guy, it resulted in meeting with a stripper who had "half a shaved head and facial tattoos... she [also] had a boyfriend. We later found out that she’s also pregnant."
Finally. I'm not going to go in to a shit ton of detail because I simply don't feel like it but
Imagine a 2016 Ye Olde GameStop
Dude clearly cracked the fuck out, he was maybe 5'2", walks in to my store with with a crossbow complete with arrows. This short man seriously brought in some monstrous weaponry that doubled his size and ASKED ME IF I COULD KEEP IT ON MY BACK COUNTER WHILE HE SHOPPED.
Naturally I told him no. I watched him waddle back outside, climb in to (what I assumed was) his own car from the passenger side window because neither of the doors worked apparently, and drive off.
We printed a picture of him from our DVR and kept it to look at for future laughs.

Last year I did something really bad. I got onto the dark web with a few friends and I'm telling you it is real. There's a certain site and I'm not giving the full name. Let's just call it " The Black Room" Me and my friends waited until their parents went to bed and all three of us pulled up chairs to the computer. It was a live streaming site that read ливе превиев which translates to "Live Preview" in Serbian. There was a black screen and people were typing into the chat box in another language. We just watched and waited for something to happen.
A topless woman with long dark brown hair appeared in a chair. She was wearing blue jeans. Her hands were tied with what looked to be thin blue ropes and duct tape double wrapped. I guess it was to make sure she didn't get out. Her feet were cuffed together with what looked like metal leg cuffs. She had a blank look on her face. The camera flashed off to dark again. It looked like someone was covering the camera with a towel. Then I heard the sick sound of a drill being turned on. The towel was removed. I heard her shouting in another language probably begging for her life. Screaming and crying, but she could not move. There was a shirtless man in a BDSM mask. If you don't know what that is I suggest you look it up. It was a black leather looking mask with eye holes and a zipper where you could zip up your mouth. She began screaming and I wanted to turn away, but curiosity got the best of me.
He put the fat metal tip of the drill straight into her damn eye. It made a sickening squishing sound and she was moaning and screaming as the drill went directly through her eyeball. Dark red blood began oozing out and it looked liked the poor woman was going into shock, she was shaking so bad. The camera had zoomed in. Her eye was still attached and had major blunt force trauma. It looked liked a big black bloody hole, her eye was half there somewhat. It was really hard to look at. Then the camera lens went black again.
We heard 2 loud pops that sounded like a gun. It was silent. No more sound, no more video. The viewing was obviously over. Oh my god I told my friends I just think we witnessed a murder, they shot her they really f%king shot her. My friends and I agreed we would never watch anything like this again! I went home feeling disgusted with myself. I hoped and prayed it was not real. Sadly it may have been. I promised myself no more, I would never watch anything like that again. That lasted til about the next weekend.
Next Saturday night after playing the PS4 for a few hours we began to get tired and smoked a few joints to wake us up. Then my best friend we will call him "Rob" suggested we get on the dark web again. Rob is a computer genius and knows how to get deep into the dark web. He used a VPN We decided to click on the "The Black Room" again. Rob told me that only 4% of the internet is visible to the public and 96% of the remaining is made up of the "Deep Web". That made me feel a bit sick to my stomach. What a disturbing thought.
It took a few hours and the site wanted us to pay with bitcoin and we did. I don't know how we easily got in the first time without paying, I guess we just got lucky because they wanted us to pay next time. This time the screen was not black and there was a concrete looking room and a bucket. A big heavy set man had this white pillowcase around his head with holes cut out for his eyes and mouth. You could not see his face. He picked up the bucket and began laughing, showing us the bucket and then showing what was in the bucket.
I almost threw up! It was a bucket full of body parts. Human body parts floating in this clotted red goop. I was assuming it was coagulated blood I just remember seeing bloody teeth, a few fingers and what looked like a couple of eyeballs or what was left of them. This couldn't be real I thought, but by the way the man was laughing it was no joke. It had to be animal parts I thought. Please let it be animal parts. The camera zoomed in and on the bucket was a white piece of paper that read "Victim # 12". It was written in permanent marker. Was this the remains of some poor unfortunate soul who got brutalized like the first victim? Was this the remains of the poor lady we saw last week. Ugh I had really hoped not.
I wasn't prepared for what happened next. The screen went black again and in a chair sat another woman, this time with blond hair and her eyes were covered with a black scarf. She was bounded by her hands and feet with the same looking thin blue rope and I felt very sorry for her. Her waist was strapped in with some sort of belt holding her down onto the chair. A white sheet was hung up behind her. I wanted to help her and felt like there was nothing I could do.
The fat man began dipping his hands in the gooey mess and trying to shove it in the woman's mouth! She tried to hold her mouth shut, but the man got angrier and slapped her in the face. It sounded like he was telling her "Eat it" "Eat it" She began to chew and cry and then vomited the whole mess up on her pretty white silk blouse. The chat box was going wild! People were typing in different languages and the chat box was going wild! Then I heard it. The cranking of a chainsaw.
There standing beside the poor girl appeared the same man from the first video. He was holding a chainsaw, shirtless black mask and all. I got a sickening feeling in my stomach. This is not going to be good. I had seen what chainsaws do to people. Chainsaw accidents are horrible. I wanted to stop viewing right then in there, but my friends were eager to watch and I didn't want to seem like a wuss. She was screaming her guts out, flailing trying to get out of the chair. Good thing we all had our headphones on because this was really loud.
I watched in horror as he begin to try and cut off her arm. The chainsaw went through a little and then kicked back in a jerky upward motion coming close to knocking her attacker out. He must have hit her arm bone I thought. I think this really angered him, I could hear him screaming in another language so I assume he might have got nicked by the chainsaw. Suddenly he shoved the blade directly into her stomach area. He pushed in and began to cut vertically upwards, her faint screams muffled by the chainsaw.
Droplets of blood began spraying into the air onto the sheet, little pieces of meat and tissue flew all over the room. She began convulsing her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she was gone. Just like that. The man slowly pulled the chainsaw out and as he did I could see what looked like her intestines hanging out. The screen went black . I ran to the bathroom to throw up. I think I threw up for 15 minutes. I almost passed out. My friends laughed at me and I knew behind the laughter it disturbed them too.
All I know now is there are some really sick people out in there in different parts of the world that will do anything on the web for money. These people have no heart or soul. They are inhumane and sick in the head. So stay off the Dark Web! There are just some things you can never forget that will disturb and your mind forever. You will not be able to undo what you have seen. Remember that!

In the last two years, my Energy Shop on Etsy has evolved from a hobby into a second income for my family. It’s been a great success, and because it’s an important part of my livelihood I have always been careful to honor Etsy’s terms of use. However, last week and without warning, my shop was suspended by Etsy’s administration.
This is how it happened: About one week before my shop was deactivated, Etsy’s integrity department sent me a questionnaire which included 3 parts and about 15 questions. The person who wrote it thanked me for my time and for being part of the community. The email went on to explain that they had reason to believe I wasn’t complying with their rules. It was made clear that I needed to defend myself, but they did not state what they were accusing me of.
At the Energy Shop, my jewelry is handmade by me in my home, and I have one person working for the shop who does all of my shipping and handling from their home. I thought I was complying with all of the rules on Etsy, so I was very confident in filling out and returning the integrity report. They required receipts for my supplies, pictures of my workspace, and photos of myself and the person who works with me. I had the entire questionnaire filled out and returned practically upon receipt. The day after I returned the investigative report, I received a reply that thanked me for my response. Case closed, or so I thought.
One week later and without notice, Etsy deactivated the Energy Shop. The email stated:
“Unfortunately, your shop does not appear to qualify for the Etsy marketplace. We are a venue for independent artists to sell their own handmade goods as well as Vintage items and Craft Supplies.
As your items do not appear to meet the criteria to sell on Etsy, your shop has been deactivated.”
And that was that. I’m not going to lie, I actually wept. I had invested two years of dedicated work and tens of thousands of dollars. All of that vanished in an instant, and my site was replaced with this message on Etsy.com:
“Uh oh! A stitch has gone awry. This page is temporarily down. Please check back later.”
I replied to the suspension email as calmly as I could, begging for them to tell me what had happened. I still had no idea what I had done wrong! I frantically started searching for a phone number that I could call; I wanted to square things away as fast as possible. I found a corporate listing for Etsy’s Brooklyn office through an internet search, but it went straight to voicemail stating that they don’t respond to phone calls.
Stunned, I was forced to sit down, wait for their reply, and let sink in what had happened. To be honest, I felt betrayed! Not only had I built this successful shop on Etsy, I had brought hundreds of customers to the community. I’ve paid thousands of dollars in fees. I have ruthlessly promoted the site and the promise of success to its sellers on my blog. And with a single click of the mouse, they erased me.
Over the next 24 hours, Etsy admin replied to me, sending one excruciatingly vague piece of information at a time. They were accusing me of “drop shipping” because my shop announcement stated, “Handmade in New Zealand, shipping out of Pittsburgh.” In my integrity report, I verified that I was outside of the country at a military address, and I did make everything by hand in New Zealand and ship stock packages to Pittsburgh.
Etsy’s Do’s and Don’ts are 29 pages long and made up of 10,918 words. About halfway through those 29 pages, I found this bullet point: “Drop shipping is not permitted. All items must be shipped under the direct supervision of the seller.”
From Wikipedia: “Drop shipping is a supply chain management technique in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and shipment details to either the manufacturer or a wholesaler, who then ships the goods directly to the customer. As in retail businesses, the majority of retailers make their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price but some retailers earn an agreed percentage of the sales in commission, paid by the wholesaler to the retailer.”
Technically, I feel the accusation they have made against the Energy Shop could be argued–there is no outside manufacturer or wholesaler involved. However, I don’t care to ever discuss my operation with Etsy admin again, so I have decided to comply with their request and ship the stock I sell on Etsy myself. After about 24 hours down, the Energy Shop was reactivated on Etsy.com.
The point of this story is not to bash Etsy as a selling platform. This was a wake-up call for me, and I wanted to turn it into a friendly warning for you. I thought I owned my small business, but by having my only presence on Etsy, it turns out that I didn’t. Etsy owns the shops they host, and they reserve the right to manage them however they choose.
Think about it, if your shop was suddenly closed on you right now–without warning or explanation, what would you lose? How many hours invested in your listings? How many positive reviews? How much of your hard-earned credibility?
If you’re serious about your small business, you might want to see Etsy as your starter house, not your permanent home.
